Photographing lighthouses in Maine

Maine’s coast is hard to beat for great scenery and when you toss in a bunch of lighthouses it becomes a true visual treat. I hosted a workshop this weekend that started with driving from New Jersey and picking up people along the route to Portland in my 12 passenger Sprinter van. Getting to Iceland early

Making the best of a long drive home

Whenever I make a long drive, like to my Acadia National Park photography Workshop, I try to stop at interesting places during the drive. I plan to find places that are less than 30 minutes off the road so I can get there and back within an hour.
