There are plenty of tutorials, videos and books that will show you how every little detail of Lightroom works. They’ll show you how to use all the sliders, but they don’t tell you why or when you should be using Lightroom’s powerful controls to get the most out of your photos. I’ll explain not only what the sliders do, but the why’s and why not’s, no matter if you are making prints, posting on the Internet or sending photos off for publication.

We’ll dig deep into the Develop Module, where you really make your photos pop. I’ll show you the best time to use controls like white balance, exposure, contrast, highlights, shadows, whites, blacks, clarity, vibrance and saturation. You’ll learn how and why to use cloning, healing, cropping and masking. I’ll cover sharpening, noise reduction, lens correction, effects. I’ll show you how to use multiple photos for HDR and creating panoramas.

I’ll use real examples using my photos, you will see how I transform images and get them to pop more than you expected.

I’ll be demonstrating with the latest version of Lightroom Classic and it doesn’t matter whether you work on a Mac or Windows.

This is an online workshop, you’ll be able to ask questions and see my computer screen. We’ll use my paid Zoom service to assure you have easy access and get quality sound and video. Login instructions will be sent after you register. The session will be recorded and you’ll be able to access it whenever you like.

Date:
Saturday, Jan. 24, 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. EDT
