There is a little pond in Pomfret, VT, that I frequently visit and it always looks different. On a beautiful spring day I was looking closely at the willows that were growing on the bank. I was focusing on the frogs and dragonflies that had made the pond their home and not feeling too inspired by my pictures. I took a step back and saw how the hill on the other side of the pond and the clouds were reflecting in the water. The foreground plants, the clouds and the hill all came together for a unique composition.
