The Feb. 2014 Print of the Month was made while visiting the National Recreation Area at Sandy Hook, NJ in January. This year has been an extremely heavy year for snow and when I saw how the snow had blown up against the fence I was intrigued by the pattern. There rarely is enough snow right on the New Jersey shore for it to pile up this high. The fence is really there to keep blowing sand off a walkway to the beach but it did double-duty and caught the snow.
